From Wildfire to Revival:
Dena Is Rising
In January 2025, the Eaton Fire tore through over 1,000 acres of Altadena. It destroyed homes. It shattered landscapes. But the real loss—the one not captured in headlines—was deeper. This fire struck at the heart of one of Southern California’s most powerful legacies of historically rooted families.
Altadena isn’t just a place. It’s a story of ownership, pride, and culture passed down through generations.
And now, we are rebuilding.
Ashes to Anthems is a rally. A movement. A line in the sand. It’s where sound becomes strength and where community answers the call.
This is a day to come together—to restore what was lost and to protect what remains. Tickets are free until we reach capacity. Donation (large or small) are encouraged.
Together, we will rebuild homes, restore dignity, and revive our community. This is how we hold Dena.

A Concert With Purpose
Featured performer Grammy Award-Winner artists backed by the National Black Musicians Coalition Celebrity House Band, leads a concert that blends the healing power of music with the urgency of action. Featuring a dynamic lineup of celebrated and local artists, this cultural moment for Dena will also highlight performances on the SEP Music Stage, showcasing talented SEP Music artists.

Proceeds from Ashes to Anthems will directly support long-term restoration efforts and help to close the insurance gap by offering bridge funding and resources that support vulnerable families for the next six - eighteen months in Altadena through education, care management, financial planning and thereapy. We're not just talking about it, we are creating a real safety net collaborative to hold Dena. Your donations will help in the following ways:
